SPHS District and the Clinic in Fairplay
The South Park Health Service District is headquartered in the South Park Health Care building on 525 Hathaway Street in Fairplay, next to the post office. As of March 1st, 2023, Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) manages the clinic. While SPHS District owns the building and helps fund the clinic, we are separate from the management of South Park Health Care.
For health care in Fairplay, visit South Park Health Care’s website or call them at (719) 836-0334.

Mission and Vision
Elected into existence in November 2017, the purpose of the South Park Health Service District is to assist in funding health services in the South Park region of Park County: Alma, Como, Fairplay, Hartsel and Jefferson. Designated as a “Medically Underserved Population” and a “Health Professional Shortage Area,” a lack of health services in our area inspired the effort to form the health district.
The South Park Health Service District Board of Directors are committed to securing integrated medical and behavioral health services where consistent access to a medical home is assured. The Board of Directors work together to ensure quality, compassionate care is rendered regardless of the patient’s situation or ability to pay.
The Board of Directors meets every month. Visit the Board of Directors page for upcoming meeting dates and to learn about our directors:
